Weekday Run Practices
T3 Weekly Run Practices include Run-Core and a Track Speed Workout. T3 Coaches will be available at all scheduled practices to ensure individual attention and expert feedback on running technique
To complement the full triathlon training programs offered by Austin T3, we are excited to introduce Run-Core. Incorporating Run-Core and strength exercises into your triathlon training is an effective way to quickly boost your fitness level and vary your workout routine throughout the year. Run-Core is great for off-season or simply to stay in shape, staying injury free through the upcoming season, and marathon training.
Run-Core Practice (Meet at Training Center)
Monday: 5:30-7:00 pm
Wednesday: 5:30-7:00 pm
Track workouts incorporate speed and variety into athletes training regimen and teach athletes to adjust to higher heart rate levels (anaerobic training). Practices are “individualized” based on an athlete’s training goals.
Track Speed Work (O’Henry Middle School)
Wednesday: 5:45-7:00 am
Friday: 5:45-7:00 am
Weekend Group Run
In addition to the weekly run practices, T3 Running also includes organized long runs each weekend. These long runs will be organized by distance and pace depending on individual training goals. Weekend Group Runs meet at “The Rock” near Austin High on the Town Lake Trail.
